COMPOSITION TASKS 4-7
Task 4 Begin Composition
Start by "playing around" with B, A, G - improvising on these notes that come out well. Extend your range if you want to, either lower, higher or both. Keep the "music patterns" that you like to play and listen to, through out the ones you don't like. When you have some ideas that you like, print off the Composer Work Sheet and write them down.
Task 5 Print Out Composition Work Sheet
Print out as many sheets as you need to complete your song. Remember that one song will be chosen to represent your class on the Spring Concert. Maybe it will be yours! Be sure that you can play your own song that you write.
Task 6 Print out Composition Rubric for Study
Use to compare your composition to the example given by Mrs. Floyd in class.
Please see teacher for composition example.
